Coronation Stakes Day - Friday, 23rd of June 2023
Return Coach from London
We depart at 10am from Victoria Coach Station. Please be at Victoria Coach Station 30 minutes prior to your departure. Depending on traffic the journey time to Ascot is approximately 90 minutes.
Victoria Coach Station location and information
We will depart Royal Ascot at 7:30pm - which is approximately 80 minutes after the last race (normally around 6:10pm). This gives you extra time to join the live bands in the Windsor Enclosure or the famous sing-along at the rear of the Grandstand. Depending upon traffic, we aim to have you in central London at Victoria Coach Station by 9:30pm.
Pre-race party/picnic zone with lunch and refreshments
Join our exclusive pre-race picnic area, inside the main Ascot straight, immediately upon arrival. Bubbles (naturally on arrival), along with lunch, our wine and cheese tent, open bar backed up with live music - a fantastic start to a big day out. You will have time to enjoy lunch along with our generous servings of refreshments before walking from the picnic/party zone in coach park 10 red to enter the racecourse at your own leisure. It is an approximate 10 minute walk to the Windsor enclosure and 15 minutes to the Queen Anne enclosure. The Royal procession begins at 2:00pm. The first race is then normally 2:30pm. Entrance to the racecourse enclosure of your choice is included in our price. Once you enter the racecourse, food and drinks are at your own cost.
Our Ascot tours are renowned for the generous supply of drinks at our main picnic site at Royal Ascot along with the quality and selection of wines. You have the choice of whites, reds, bubbly, cider and beer.
Meet us at Ascot
If you prefer to make your own way to Royal Ascot, you can meet us at our picnic zone in Coach Park 10 (Red) and enjoy our buffet picnic style lunch with drinks plus collect your entry tickets. After this, like the rest of our guests, you would head into the racetrack to enjoy the races. We advise people meeting us at Ascot to arrive at the coach park area around 11am to enjoy lunch and drinks. Everyone has left us by 1:30pm to enter the races and be in place for the Queens arrival at 2pm with the Royal Procession.

Royal Ascot Entry Ticket Types
At the time of booking, you can choose between the Queen Anne Enclosure or the Windsor Enclosure.
Queen Anne Enclosure
The Queen Anne Enclosure is a premier public enclosure and provides excellent facilities with access to the Pre-Parade Ring, Winners' Enclosure and Parade Ring. On the lawns and terraces of the Queen Anne Enclosure, you can enjoy first-rate views of the day's six races, joining the jubilant crowds as they cheer each winner home. Here you'll be at the heart of the day's activity. Close to the runners and riders in the Pre-Parade and Parade Ring and front row as the Royal Procession passes by the Grandstand. Please note that Queen Anne Enclosure entry tickets do not grant entry to the upper tiers of the Grandstand, which is reserved for Royalty and VIPs. After the last race is over, the celebrations continue with wonderful communal singing on the Bandstand lawn.
Enjoy close-up views of the Royal Procession as it journeys past the stylish lawns of the Windsor Enclosure. This is the enclosure the horses past first on their way down the home straight when racing begins. It is here that the roar of the crowd starts in earnest, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. The atmosphere in the Windsor Enclosure is always vibrant with guests enjoying betting facilities, artisan food stalls, Champagne and Pimm's bars, and picnics on the lawn. From Thursday onwards, live music plays into the early evening. Please note that the Windsor Enclosure is a separate admission area that does not provide access to the Parade Ring or the main Grandstand area.
Dress Code - Important!
Royal Ascot is very strict when it comes to what you can and cannot wear in the different enclosures. Please ensure you follow the dress code very closely.
