Middle East Conflict - Anzac Day Gallipoli 2026
With Anzac Day 2026 fast approaching, we are also conscious that some of you may have questions regarding the current situation in the Middle East.
The situation in parts of the region remains fluid and is understandably causing concern for travellers currently transiting through the Middle East. At this stage, there is no indication that Turkey is affected. There has been no real change to the Australian Government's travel advice for Istanbul or Turkey (see smartraveller.gov.au).
We are in regular contact with our long-standing ground operators in Turkey and our local representatives on the Gallipoli peninsula. We also maintain close communication with official sources to ensure we can respond quickly should circumstances change. Our Dawn Service tours will proceed as planned. As always, the only circumstance under which our tours would not operate is if the Commemorative Services themselves are officially cancelled by the Australian and New Zealand Governments, who conduct the events in conjunction with the Turkish authorities.
You can book your place to be at the 2026 Dawn Service with confidence: As PP Travel has demonstrated in the past during the covid years when all passengers were offered full refunds, if the Dawn Service were to be formally cancelled, all passengers would be offered the option to defer to a future year or receive a full refund.
