Anzac Day Tours FAQ's

How do you get to Istanbul and your hotel or the PP Travel tour departure point?

For those who book an accommodation tour with us we will email you hostel/hotel information, with maps and transport/transfer information before your arrival to Istanbul.

2 day passengers are to make their own way to the early pick up on the morning of the 24th of April. You off course will also get details on where the departure point is with address and map links.

Flights to Istanbul
The most obvious way to get to Turkey is to fly. Istanbul has two main airports. There is the new Istanbul Airport (IST) which took over from Ataturk Airport on the 7th of April 2019 and Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SAB)

As we are a tour operator rather than a flight shop/travel agency we do not book flights plus these days you get the best price and flexibility via online sites like eBookers, Opodo, Skyscanner and Kayak or direct with airlines like British Airways and EasyJet. Availability to Istanbul ,if booked reasonably early, is good and flight prices can be quite competitive.
Return Istanbul Airport Shuttles
There is a shuttle service from both airports which can be cheaper than a taxi for groups and it can only be pre-booked through the official ataturkairporttransfer.com website operated by Efendi Travel Airport Transfer & City Tours. Note that unfortunately we are unable to organise airport transfers on your behalf.
