Now is the time to plan your day at Royal Ascot in 2021

Royal Ascot 2021 - Tuesday, 15th to Saturday, 19th of June 2021

The world's most glamorous and prestigious race meeting is returning to Royal Ascot in 2021. A stunning racecourse set in beautiful Berkshire. Described by critics and pundits alike as 'The Greatest Race Meeting in the World', the five day Royal meeting held in June each year is an occasion not to be missed.

PP Travel operate excellent value packages to the three key days of Royal Ascot - "Ladies Day", the Gold Cup meeting on the Thursday, the Coronation Stakes meeting on the Friday and Finale Day on the Saturday with the running of the Diamond Jubilee stakes.

Outstanding fashions, awesome facilities and high stakes - along with its sense of theatre and fun - makes being at Royal Ascot a great day out.

  • Large buffet lunch upon arrival, served with a wide variety of quality red and white wine - and of course, plenty bubbly provided!
  • BBQ sausage and bacon rolls are also on offer
  • Entrance provided to the Windsor Enclosure
  • Or the Queen Anne Enclosure
  • Tour leader for the day.
  • Typically great PP fun and organisation.
Ascot's racetrack is one of the most modern and spectacular in the world since being totally rebuilt in 2006. It is only during the 5-day June meeting that the huge Berkshire racetrack becomes officially known as "Royal" - and a regal stamp on this occasion is clearly defined by the magnificent horse drawn procession at the beginning of each day that brings members of the family from Windsor Castle down the main straight to their own "Royal Enclosure".

The meeting is steeped in history dating back to 1711 when it was begun by Queen Anne. Now well over 300,000 people make the annual visit to Berkshire during Royal Ascot week, making it Europe's best-attended race meeting. With 16 group races on offer it is an amazing sporting event as well as being arguably the most famous meeting of its type for social tradition and pageantry - something that continues to this very day.

Queen Anne Enclosure
The Queen Anne offers viewing from ground and lawn levels close to the finish line and allows you access to the main parade ring as well as its excellent facilities. Your lunch and drinks will be served in PP Travel's exclusive area in coach park 10, on the inside of the long 16 furlong straight. You're your entry badge supplied, after enjoying lunch you are free to cross under the track to enter the racecourse proper. Join in the enclosure's famous sing-a-long by the bandstand after the last race. Please note, a strict dress code applies to all Queen Anne ticket holders. Check out our FAQ section on PP Royal Ascot tours for further information on the difference areas at Royal Ascot.

Windsor Enclosure
Where there is a more relaxed - but a major party atmosphere. Like the Queen Anne, the Windsor Enclosure has excellent facilities, but is further from the finish line, being at the top of the straight to the furlong (200 metre) mark of the straight. The Windsor has free seats in its temporary stands or you can cheer the horses as they enter the home straight by the rails. While the racing is undeniably first class, it is often the action off the track that is the main attraction. The colourful style, pageantry and range of outfits on display at this amazingly social outing make the whole event much more than just an amazing race meeting. Immediately after the last race, the bands crank up in its huge party marquee.

Meet at Ascot Option
If you are travelling from other parts of the UK or not from central London, it may be easier for you to make your own way to Ascot and join us at our lunch/party zone in coach park 10 before entering the races. We offer a no transport option - you get everything that a normal package includes, except the journey from central London to Ascot and back.

At Royal Ascot our large cold buffet lunch is served in the very social parking area, inside the mile long straight. PP Travel has the largest marquee area in this coach park, an ideal place for a picnic before the races. The Royal Procession travels past this area a half an hour before the first race which is usually around 2:30pm. You can give the Queen a wave from either beside our picnic area or cross under the track and enter the racecourse proper to watch the parade travel past.

Lunch and drinks are provided for all PP guests in Coach Park 10 (Red) upon arrival. With entry badges provided either on the coach journey to Ascot or on your independent arrival to our picnic/party zone, you are then free to make your own way into the course proper at your leisure after enjoying your meal.
