Oktoberfest 2009 beer prices confirmed.
The Munich Office of Tourism recently announced the beer prices for the 2009 Oktoberfest.
Revellers to this years festival will have to dig just a little deeper into their pockets this year for a 1 litre glass (mass or stein) of traditionally brewed local Oktoberfest beer with a price hike of 5% or around €0.60 being announced. The cost for each beer in 2009 will be between €8.50 and €8.60 depending on which beer tent you are visiting.
At the 2008 Oktoberfest prices passed through the €8 per beer barrier for the first time yet there were still more than 6.6 million litres of beer sold (and presumably consumed) by party goers at the fest.
The world's largest beer festival takes place from September 19th to October 4th this year and PP Travel still has a number of options remaining if you'd like to join us at the party of a lifetime.
(www.shanebaisden.com) says that there are just 50 days to go until the opening of this years festival in Munich so you still have plenty of time to sort out a tour with a reputable tour company to Munich for the Oktoberfest.

We hope to see many of you in Munich for Oktoberfest 2009 in September/October!!
