2009 Oktoberfest Official Motif Release
The 176th Oktoberfest due to open in just little under 130 days, 21 hours and 50 minutes has already announced the winner of the competition for the official motif which has since been publicly released on February 5th of this year. It was one of the tightest and closest competitions of recent years with the winner only just piping the runner up by 3 votes.
The motif itself, whilst already released, will not be officially available on any merchandise until August when Oktoberfest souvenir collectors will surely be falling over each other to obtain the first release of collectors items. If you are interested then keep a close eye on the official English version of the Oktoberfest website www.oktoberfest.de/en/
