Relax as we head west to Epsom, sort out your bets for the day as a journey of approx 90 minutes, depending upon traffic is ahead of you. We will depart Epsom Downs Racecourse at 7.00pm - which is approximately 90 minutes after the last race (normally around 5.30pm). This gives you extra time to party, dance and join the jovial crowds watching the live music in the Upper Tattenham or Hill Enclosures. Depending upon traffic, we aim to have you in central London at Victoria Embankment by 9.30pm.
Our substantial cold buffet lunch will be provided at midday and will be served right by the coach in the Upper Tattenham Enclosure where PP Travels marquee is set up. You will have plenty of time to enjoy lunch and our generous servings of refreshments before the Royal procession passes at around 2.00pm. The first race is normally about 2.30pm.
Our Epsom Derby day tour will provide a generous supply of drinks at our picnic site. There will be a selection of quality still red and white wine as well as sparkling wine and beer available throughout the lunch service and into the afternoon.
Meet us at Epsom
If you prefer to make your own way to Epsom for Derby Day, you can meet us at our picnic zone in the Upper Tattenham Enclosure and enjoy our buffet picnic style lunch with drinks and collect your entry tickets from us there. After this, like the rest of our guests, you would then enjoy the rest of the day as our coach passengers would. We advise people meeting us at Epsom to arrive at the Tattenham Enclosure area between 11am and 1pm to enjoy the lunch and drinks. The Queen's arrival is around 2pm with the Royal Procession, which travels right past our picnic setup.
